“You’ve got a real shot at getting published,” Pauline encouraged her brother. She gave Isaac back his papers.
“Really? I feel like there’s a missing detail in my story. Something I forgot to say.”
“It’s great. Next time though staple it or use one large paper clip. It was annoying to have to remove them all to read it.”
“Oh, was it?” Isaac wondered. “Cause, I don’t believe you read it at all.” He pulled out a ruler and measured the distance between the paper clips that ran down the side of the papers. They were still perfectly spaced out.
