At times, you feel like the wastefulness police. It is almost cringeworthy. Your friends have no problem with throwing half-eaten meals and old clothing away. Though it is not your place to sit and judge others, you hope to be able to influence them for the better. With the arrival of the holiday season you are aware of all the shiny objects that you want. But on the other hand, you acknowledge all that you already have. Find subtle ways to remind your friends that you are the lucky ones. Lucky to have the motivation and ability to acquire enough resources to afford that overpriced meal or outfit that is worn once. Be gentle with your expression of opinion. One is lucky to have friends. Don’t waste them.
