Tobin shared his idea with the villagers. “Since we know how to write, we can write letters to each other. Each of us will have a box at our dwelling for letters to go into. Only you can open your letters.” The villagers weren’t inspired.
Tobin continued, “You write about your hopes, dreams, fears or family. Anything really.”
Jordey got Tobin’s attention. “So I could write you a letter about how you owed me five eggs last week and now I feel like you should owe me ten?”
Tobin slightly embarrassed answered, “Yes, that could be a letter as well.”
