The 100 “Mood”

Everyday at six o’clock in the morning, Samantha received a telephone call. Samantha would pick up the phone, hear hello lovely and then slowly hang up the phone. Samantha wasn’t in the mood for any good news, any compliments or to hear about any exciting possibilities.  She wanted to eat her eggs, drink tea and reminisce about all of the bad days. The persistent caller wanted to find a way to reach Samantha. “Hello, dreadful.” The caller tried a different approach. “Hello,” Samantha responded. “I’ve been calling you everyday.” “When I heard lovely, I assumed you called the wrong number.”
